The NIU main campus is slated to move to the IC Campus Bethesda (ICC-B) in 2016. The new campus is located along the Potomac River on the grounds of what was formerly National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency headquarters. NIU will move into a completely refurbished Roberdeau Hall, which was taken down to the dirt and girders and reconstructed with the help of an academic architecture design firm in Philadelphia. The precise time table for the move has not yet been announced, but NIU expects that the Class of 2017 will be the first class to graduate from the new campus....
